Learning to write our last names.

This week, you might have noticed your child's name look a little different on their seatwork. We introduced writing our names with an upper case letter for the first letter and lower case letters for the remaining letters. This has been a challenge for most. It will take some practice, but we are working on it! Not only did we introduce writing the letters of their name differently, but we also introduced writing last names! Every child in the class got a name-card with their first name on one side and their last name on the other side. This early practice will help your child be more prepared for next year in Kindergarten!
