'Touch' Homework!

Today we introduced a special homework assignment for the sense of touch. This week and next, we would like for the children to look at home for items which would have different textures. The textures we are focusing on are ROUGH, SOFT, STICKY, and SMOOTH. We would like the children to bring in at least one item for each of the textures mentioned. The items should be small and ones which do not need to be returned as we will be attaching these items to a bulletin board. Please assist your child but let this activity be as much of his/her discovery as possible! Happy Hunting!
