We hope that all of you have had a safe and warm 4 day weekend! Our school was very empty on Friday! Cold and empty! With the cold weather, please remember that your child may wear 'warmer' clothes over their uniforms and then take them off for class.
With the snow on the playground, we will not be playing out there since not all of us wear snow boots to school. But, from the moment your child gets dropped off until 11:45, the children do play in the classroom before we begin our day. So we are still having a play-time. It is just indoors rather than out.
For carpool, after school, we will be outside unless the temperature falls below 15 degrees. Please make sure your child has the appropriate warm clothes for outdoor carpool. If it is too cold or if it is raining, then we will have indoor carpool.
Since we missed two days of school last week, we have decided to continue with our study of the N sound/letter. Along with continuing the N sound, we will be practicing our lines for our upcoming play, The Bear Case. We will be sending home your child's lines to practice at home as well as ideas for costumes. We have plenty of rehearsals and classroom time to practice our lines so please don't feel pressured to practice at home.
Please don't forget to sign up for conferences. You may begin to sign up starting this Tuesday. If for some reason you are unable to sign up on line, please contact the Lower School Office.
